Kittitas County Youth Awards
2024 Youth Awards Ceremony
To celebrate the 2023 winners
Congratulations to the 2023 Kittitas County Youth Award Winners! View the ceremony below
In 2017, a group of local educators and residents heard about the Yakima County Youth Awards. These folks felt like we should also have an opportunity to honor the amazing young people who reside in Kittitas County.
After working with the Yakima Youth Awards committee and attending their 2018 awards, the Kittitas County group was ready to launch their awards.
People from each school district in the county, along with community members, members of the Ellensburg School District Education Foundation, and the Rodeo City Kiwanis group partnered to make this year’s awards happen. Additionally, generous sponsorships from Jim Denison and Marco and Sarah Bicchieri provided additional funding for the awards.
Students from all over Kittitas County including public, private, and home-schooled students are eligible to be nominated. Students can be nominated in one or more of the following categories:
- The Arts
- Business and Enterprise
- Civics and Community Service
- Family Life
- Leadership
- Personal Achievement
- S.T.E.M.
- Small Group <9
- Large Group >10
