Our Purpose

• Promote educational programs for the Ellensburg School District No. 401, Ellensburg, Washington;
• Provide a committee to review program ideas and to make grants to the schools, departments, staff, individual students and student groups in furtherance of the puposes of the Ellensburg School District;
• Raise funds to meet the above objectives through donations from individuals, corporations and foundation as well as through sponsorship of fund raising events;
• Act as a fiscal agent for donors who wish to sponsor projects, grants, and scholarships for the schools, staff, and students;

What Our Foundation Offers

• A tax-deductible way for individuals, groups and businesses to enhance public school programs, projects, and scholarship fund.
• A way for individuals and organizations to sponsor projects they believe are particularly worthwhile.
• A way for community members to develop closer relationships with the schools, in order to help assess needs and set priorities.
• A way to access money from national foundations that grant only to other foundations.
• A way to encourage the business community to be more involved in our schools.
• A way to evaluate new ideas and learn from the experience.
• A way to help prepare our children for the challenges of the 21st century.
